about club edge

ABOUT CLUB EDGE A Modern, Safe, and Elevated Space for Men Club Edge was created to fill a real and growing need in New England: a clean, upscale, membership-based lounge and wellness space designed exclusively for gay and bisexual men. While major cities across the country have LGBTQ-friendly lounges, spas, and social clubs, New Hampshire and the North Shore have very few options where men can relax, socialize, enjoy wellness amenities, and feel a sense of community in a discreet, clean, and professional environment. Club Edge is built around the idea that men deserve a place that is respectful, modern, safe, and thoughtfully designed — not the outdated “bathhouse” stereotype, and not the anonymous hookup spots that often lack structure, supervision, or comfort. Instead, Club Edge provides a clean, secure, well-managed environment with clear rules, premium facilities, and a focus on both wellness and social connection. The Existing Market Across the U.S., membership-based men’s lounges and clubs have seen a strong resurgence. Trends shaping the market include: A demand for safe, managed spaces where men can socialize without the risks found in public cruising areas or unregulated environments. An increase in wellness culture, with saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools, and relaxation spaces becoming major draws for men seeking stress relief and self-care. Growth in LGBTQ+ visibility and community support, increasing the need for inclusive spaces outside major cities. Travelers and weekend visitors along the Route 1/I-95 corridor looking for things to do and places to unwind. Despite this, New Hampshire and Massachusetts have very few professionally run, modern options. The market is underserved — and Club Edge fills that gap. The Need for a Space Like Club Edge Men deserve a place where they can simply be themselves — without judgment, without pressure, and without the uncomfortable atmosphere of old-style bathhouses. Club Edge provides: A discreet, membership-only environment Clean, supervised, professionally maintained facilities Wellness amenities such as sauna, open showers, whirlpools, lockers, and a modern video lounge A social space that encourages community, not chaos A safe alternative to unsafe public meet-up spots or non monitored online encounters Our goal is to create a place that is healthy, respectful, and above all comfortable — a place designed intentionally for modern expectations. How Club Edge Is Different Club Edge is not a typical bathhouse, nor a hookup-focused establishment. It was built from the ground up with a different vision: 1. Clean, Spa-Inspired Environment -We focus on wellness, comfort, and a modern atmosphere. Think of it as a men’s social spa, not a dark, aging bathhouse. 2. Professional Management - Rules, supervision, membership verification, clear policies, and a focus on safety and respect — all things many older establishments lack. 3. Discreet and Secure Entry - Check-in is managed through a teller-style window and a controlled door system — prioritizing privacy and safety. 4. Designed for Community - The layout includes lounges, social areas, the “Jungle Room,” themed zones, and a video lounge — all intended to create a sense of belonging and connection. 5. No Online Payments — Privacy First - All memberships and visit fees are handled on-site to maintain discretion. 6. Modern Expectations, Modern Design - Club Edge uses an updated aesthetic: charcoal, teal, neon accents, and a clean architectural flow that feels upscale and intentional. Why I Created Club Edge — A Personal Perspective Club Edge was founded with clarity and honesty: I’m not gay, and I don’t come from this industry. But that actually shaped the vision in an important way. I recognized a major gap in the market — men in this region had no safe, high-quality, professionally managed space designed specifically for them. Friends, acquaintances, and community members often shared the same frustrations: Nowhere local to relax or socialize without driving to Boston or Providence, A desire for a clean, modern space without the stigma of traditional bathhouses, The need for privacy, structure, and professionalism. Coming in with an outside perspective allowed me to approach this as a business, a community service, and a wellness space — not as a recreation of old models. My role is to build the facility, provide the management structure, ensure compliance, and uphold standards that the members themselves deserve. Club Edge was created because the community asked for it — and my skills will allow me to bring it to life responsibly, respectfully, and professionally. Our Mission To provide a safe, stylish, and welcoming environment where men can relax, connect, and take care of themselves — physically, socially, and emotionally — in a space that reflects modern values

FOUNDER’S Q&A With Richard., Founder of Club Edge Q: What inspired you to create Club Edge? I recognized a major gap in the market: men in New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts had no modern, safe, or professionally run lounge or wellness space that catered to their needs. After hearing from multiple people in the community and doing extensive research, it became clear that this region deserved a clean, upscale option that wasn’t a traditional bathhouse or an anonymous hookup spot. Club Edge was created to fill that gap — responsibly, respectfully, and with a focus on wellness and community. Q: You’ve mentioned you’re not gay. Why build a men’s-only club? Because this is fundamentally a community service and a business opportunity, not a personal outlet. I don’t approach this from a lifestyle perspective — I approach it from a safety, quality, and professionalism perspective. Being outside the community allows me to stay objective, enforce consistent standards, and design the space based on what members want, not my own preferences. My goal is simple: build a place that men feel comfortable, welcome, and safe in. Q: What makes your vision different from a traditional bathhouse? Many older facilities are outdated, dimly lit, or poorly managed. That’s not what today’s members want. Club Edge is designed as a modern, wellness-forward space with: Clean, spa-style design Bright, safe, monitored spaces A professional check-in system Structured rules and expectations A focus on comfort, discretion, and respect It feels more like a men’s social spa than anything else — built for today, not the past. Q: Why choose Seabrook, New Hampshire as the location? Seabrook sits at a perfect crossroads: NH, MA, and coastal traffic. Thousands of people travel this route daily. Yet despite all the movement, there are virtually no safe, private, modern spaces for men in this whole region. Seabrook provides: Easy highway access Privacy A discreet location Proximity to both local residents and travelers It’s a strategic spot for a membership-based lounge and spa. Seabrook is growing and NH is very helpful for small business. Q: What do you want members to feel when they walk into Club Edge? I want them to feel: Safe Relaxed Respected Welcome Interested in exploring the space The design — from the neon teal glow to the spa-inspired jungle room — creates an atmosphere that’s modern, social, and comfortable. Q: What steps are you taking to ensure safety and professionalism? Safety is built into every layer of the club: Teller-style check-in window Controlled secure entry Membership-only access Clear rules and policies Privacy-first data handling Professional facility maintenance Staff presence during operating hours Club Edge is designed to be cleaner, safer, and more structured than any typical bathhouse or hookup spot. Q: How will Club Edge support the LGBTQ+ community? We are actively partnering with: LGBTQ+ organizations Local health providers Testing and education services Advocacy groups in MA & NH Club Edge will be a place where men feel respected and supported — with real community resources available. Q: What are your long-term goals for Club Edge? My goal is to build a strong foundation with: A clean, modern facility Reliable membership systems A comfortable, community-focused environment Once established, we can expand: Event programming Wellness services Community partnerships Additional themed rooms Workshops and health education Eventually, I want Club Edge to become the premiere men’s wellness and social lounge in New England. Q: How can people help support the launch? The GoFundMe campaign plays a huge part in the startup process — helping with: Lease and build-out Equipment Sauna & wellness installations Security systems Interior design Licensing and operations People can contribute by donating, sharing the campaign, and spreading the word. Every bit helps move the project closer to opening its doors
